A Cheltenham Town House

This now sunny property was once dark, unloved and in need of renovation. My brief was to create a happy, fun and light space to relax in and call home.

The living room is wonderfully light due to duel aspect windows, which looks onto the charming garden. The design for this space was simple and fun but with a Scandinavian twist. We used a simple sofa design and large comfy chairs to create a room that would bring the family together and a allow them to whittle away the evenings in a cosy environment. A selection of framed prints and family photos come together to create a very personal and individual space. We selected fun lighting using a clear Kartell Bourgie lamp and industrial cage wall lights. Sheepskins, antlers, cushions and a large rug from the scandi style were combined to create a interior design that says simplicity, airy and cool!

The kitchen holds the strong design of white units and grey granite worktops, it’s very simple and current and is a great space to socialise in with friends and have a glass of wine…or two! A few quirky touches make it feel personal and fun, corner oak shelves with bright yellow brackets. Again this room boasts beautiful views and the large picture window floods the room with light.

The family bathroom is bright and calm, the room work’s for children’s bath times as well as a nice hot bubble bath to soak in after a long day at work. The floor tiles are great, a fun twist on a classic design, easy to clean and shows the fresh personality of the house.
