Ella was a great project to be involved with. Re vamping an existing salon, change of reception layout and adding some curb appeal!

The owner wanted to freshen the place up throughout the salon and change the reception layout, waiting area and extending their point of sale area.

Working with Ella’s brand agency we changed some colours to reinvent the existing brand to make it feel fresh with a Scandi feel. These changes were then to be rolled out through the website and printed material so the offering was cohesive.

A geometric design was painted on the reception wall which can be seen from the street, its striking yellow, teal and grey really stands out and has become somewhere clients take photos of their ‘before’ and ‘after’ hair! Scaffolding planks have been used for the bench seat in reception, the point of sale shelves and the reception counter top, using scaffolding works with the original shop fit as it was used throughout the salon previously. As we were not changing everything we needed to be blend the two together so this was an obvious choice of material.

The reception front has been tiled in white square tiles laid in a brick formation which is a very Scandi feel.

With products from Fine Little Day and Ferm Living really brings the Scandinavian look to life!

Daniela was great to work for, very easy going and very decisive with her decisions. When I asked her how the refit has gone down with her staff she said “It’s been a huge hit with regular clientele and staff. I have also seen a steep increase in new customers!!!”
