The Bungalow Conversion
This property was damp & had been left to almost fall down. It was discovered as a one bedroom bungalow & lovingly converted into a three bedroomed family home. A large kitchen dining room extension has been added to the rear of the property taking in the south facing garden views, aluminium bi-fold doors open up to let the outside in. Concrete floors throughout visually give the feeling of cohesion & flow room to room. Bespoke concrete kitchen work tops, cherry wood clad ceilings & a cherry & black steel open staircase were all commissioned to create a personal & individual home. The architectural decision was made to create a corridor which draws your eye from the front door to the back of the property, integrated sliding doors were designed to provide a clear path which presents a light & welcoming view every time the door is open. A combination of new & old furniture, white & black paint colours & a selection of personal family photography & fun artworks balances this home which is newly built but looks evolved.
